PERL adalah bahasa pemrograman yang paling gila yang pernah saya pelajari,
bahasa iniliah yang paling agak lama saya pelajari dan pahami,
dulu saya pernah belajar :

PHP
lalu PERL

Dari kesemua web programming yang saya pelajari,
PERL-lah yang bikin otak puyeng dan perut mual-mual

Sebuah mahakarya Larry Wall inilah yang paling sinting untuk dipelajari oleh saya
yang notabene hanya mempunyai algoritma yang pas-pas-an.
Saya mempelajari perl karena PERL sangatlah tangguh dalam segi apapun dalam
dunia pemrograman, walaupun saya mempelajarinya hanya dalam lingkup web programming.
Ambil contoh aplikasi-aplikasi yang dibangun oleh PERL:
Cpanel (Web)
Nikto (Web Vulnerablity Scanner)
PSh (Shell)
dan masih banyak lagi

Lagi iseng-iseng googling nyari resource Tolkien dari oxford (katanya disana ada mata kuliah Tolkienian) dan pengen tau ajah.
Malah dapet songbook yang lirik-liriknya ditulis ama mahasiswa oxford …
setelah didownload, isinya emang bener lirik2 lagu karya mereka, tapi musiknya berasal dari musik-musik yang udah ada,
kaya ‘Innuendo’ by Freddy Mercury, ‘Ode to Joy’ by Ludwig van Beethoven, ‘Dead Ringer for Love’ by Meat Loaf, dll.
jadi kesimpulannya lirik-lirik lagu ini adalah parody yang bertemakan cerita karya-karya Tolkien.
